For owners and managers: claiming a page, what is free, what the business plan adds, and how billing works.
How do I claim my business?
Claiming is free. Find your business, sign in with your mobile number and prove you speak for the business.
How do you check that I own the business?
We use the strongest method that fits, in this order: the business phone (sign in with the public number we list and you claim at once, or we text a code to the business’s public phone), an email with a link sent to an address at your own website, a code on your website, then a note to our team that a person reviews by hand. Documents can be attached in your conversation with the team under Account, then Messages.
What does the free page have, and what does the business plan add?
The free page has contact details, a logo, links, opening hours, a short description, a Claimed label, your exact rank and 30-day numbers. The business plan adds a longer about section, a photo gallery of up to 9 photos, your menu or services, full insights, winner artwork and a call-to-action button.
How much is the business plan, and does it renew?
$149 founding price for the first 100 businesses while spots last, then $249 a year. Each payment covers one year. It renews automatically every year at $249 until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in Manage billing (the plan then runs to the end of the paid year). If the price changes we will tell you before it takes effect.
Can I get a refund?
The first purchase of a business plan is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying. A renewal is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of the charge. After that, payments are not refunded in part: cancelling stops future renewals, and the plan runs to the end of the year you paid for. Send us a message through the contact form to ask.
How do I cancel?
Open your business plan page and choose Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the year you have paid for. A plan paid by Zelle or check does not renew automatically.
How do I change my opening hours?
Open your page from your account and edit Opening hours. You set each day, and you can add a note. Opening hours are part of the free page.
How many photos can I add, and when do they show?
The business plan includes a gallery of up to 9 photos. Each photo is checked automatically. A photo held for review is not shown until it is approved, and a held photo that is not approved within 30 days is deleted.
What are Locals offers?
A claimed business may publish up to 3 Locals offers at a time. An offer is the business’s own, it must be the same for everyone, it may not be given in return for votes, and it never affects rank.
How far back do my insights go?
Your Insights history starts the day your plan starts and carries over when you renew. If the plan lapses for more than 30 days, the history starts again when you subscribe. Your Insights history is kept for 30 days after the plan ends. If you come back within 30 days it carries on; after that it starts again from the day you return.
What are the winner badge and window sticker?
If your business wins, the business plan includes a winner badge and window sticker artwork with your board’s QR code. Printed kits are coming.
Can I hide my listing?
Yes. The owner of a claimed page can hide it at any time and bring it back later. A hidden page is left out of rankings.
Does paying change my rank?
Paying never affects rank or the order of any board.
