LocalsVoted is a website where locals vote for the best in their city, on any topic. Rank comes only from votes.

Short description

LocalsVoted hosts public boards titled "Best [topic] in [city]". Anyone can start a board for any topic in a city, and people in that city vote once per board per month after signing in with a mobile number. Each board shows its top ten, and monthly and yearly winners are published on their own pages. County, state and country pages add up the votes cast on the city boards; they cannot be voted on themselves. Businesses can claim their page for free. No business can pay for rank.
