Data sources
Where the business details on LocalsVoted come from, and under which licences.
Overture Maps Foundation
Some business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites and categories come from the Places dataset of the Overture Maps Foundation (overturemaps.org). Overture combines open data from several contributors and publishes it under open licences.
Release in use: 2026-09-23.1. Accessed October 18, 2026.
Details an owner or our staff confirm, and details read from a business’s own website, take priority over this data and carry no credit line.

Maps links
Where a page links to Apple Maps or Google Maps, the link is built from the business’s name and address that we hold. We do not read anything back from those services.
